you tried church yet?
now is the time!
our vision
We want to see God's love spreading across Denton. Though Denton may not be seen as all that important to the wider world, it's supremely important to God.
We want to share Christ with local people and build a community that grows in faith and serves others.
We also want to start new churches in Tameside towns like Ashton, Audenshaw, Droylsden, and Dukinfield.
Will you join us on this journey?
our values

we take heart
Our task of making disciples can be daunting and we will need to take risks to do it, but we take heart and press on, knowing that Jesus has promised to be with us always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
we care as we share
As we share the hope of Jesus with the people of Denton and beyond, we will help them practically where we are able (James 2:14-17). We commit within our church to caring for each other (Galatians 6:10) and will support those in need in our community where we are able.
we love God
We love God for who he is and what he has done for us! We think that being a child of God is the greatest blessing that anyone can
have and are so thankful to God for creating us, redeeming us, and being with us by his Spirit.
we build each other up
As Christians, we are members together of one body - the body of Christ, and have each been given different gifts to build each other up (Romans 12:3-8). We commit to speaking the truth in love to one another, so that we build each other up to maturity in Christ (Ephesians 4:15-16). This mean that we commit to each other, regularly meeting together to build one another up (Hebrews 10:24-25). This means that we commit to changing, seeking to grow up in Christ by putting off sin and putting on righteousness (Colossians 3:1-17).
we go with the gospel
To share the hope of Jesus means we seek to connect with those in Denton who are not yet Christians, meeting them where they and faithfully sharing the gospel with them in a way that they understand (Colossians 4:4-6).
we meet Jesus in his word
We believe the Bible is God’s written word (2 Timothy 3:16) and that, by the work of the Holy Spirit, as it is faithfully preached, God’s voice is truly heard. ● We therefore seek to build the body of Christ through faithful, expository Bible teaching, applied to our lives today, and prayer. ● We commit to listening to and living out God’s word in our own lives, as did the wise man who built his house upon the rock (Matthew 7:26).
we pray first
All authority on heaven and earth has been given to Jesus, so we are dependent on him to make disciples. We therefore will always begin with prayer. All of this is God's work and rests on him.
